Provo School District

The Provo School District boundaries include schools in the Provo City area. The district includes 13 elementary schools and five secondary schools.

Provo City School District is concerned about filling the needs of academically gifted children. They are making plans to assist those children in alternate placement programs to encourage advancement in learning.

Provo School District also offers a complete curriculum for those with special needs including occupational and physical therapy, psychology and speech and language skills.

Provo City School District has unique programs in place to assist those in special circumstances. They offer parenting classes, early education classes and a Native American program.

Brigham Young University

LaVell Edwards Stadium, with its 64,045-seat capacity, huge video scoreboards and immaculate press boxes, is home to legendary BYU football.

 

Timpanogos Cave National Monument

Timpanogos Cave National Monument sits high in the Wasatch Mountains. The cave system consists of three spectacularly decorated caverns. Helictites and anthodites are just a few of the many dazzling formations to be found in the many chambers. Utah Lake State Park

At Utah Lake State Park you can fish year-round for channel catfish, walleye, white bass, black bass and several different species of panfish in Utah's largest fresh water lake. The state park provides major access to the 96,600-acre lake for powerboating, sailboating, canoeing or kayaking. Utah Lake State Park is five miles west of Provo just off Interstate 15. Facilities include four boat launching ramps, sheltered 30-acre marina, 78 seasonal/transient boat slips, modern rest rooms, showers, 71 campsites, a fishing area for the disabled, and sewage disposal and fish cleaning stations.
